Anthony David Gonzalez is a ex- American football tight end, who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. One of the NFL's most effective tight ends, and the third most effective overall receivers, he has been ranked as the NFL's top tight end by the number of yards received, receptions achieved, and so on.
Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End currently works as a FOX Sports Studio analyst. From the beginning of 2017 NFL season, Gonzalez is a regular for FOX NFL KICKOFF, FOX's hour long NFL pregame show preceding FOX NFL Sunday, which airs every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET during the NFL season.
On the 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons to a two-year, $14 million deal, despite his claim that he would be retiring after the 2013 season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 and Gonzalez (37 an age) spent last season as NFL's leading receiver.
